After years of hiatus in reading books, I finally found the motivation and enthusiasm to read again. So for my resurgence, I bought these three books online.
1. The Archer by Paulo Coelho
I was just browsing online when this book randomly appeared. The name of the author which was largely printed in the cover captured my attention. Who doesn’t know Paulo Coelho nowadays?
I was introduced to Paulo’s writings when I was in high school when our English teacher forced us to read novels and required us to submit analyses. His first book that I have read was The Alchemist. After that, I grew fond of his writings and found myself reading him one after another. I bought the By The River Piedra I Sat Down and Wept, Brida, and Veronika Decides to Die then I borrowed his other books to read. Feeling the connection with his works, I bought The Archer. I have already finished reading this in one go and will write a book review in my next blog. 😊
2. The Well-Watered Woman by Gretchen Saffles
The title and cover caught my eyes. Apparently, this was a recommendation to me by someone on threads and she said this was a great book. Reading the blurb, this book gives me hope that buying this is a right choice.
3. Healing the Soul of a Woman by Joyce Meyer
This book went straight into my cart because of, again, the author’s name. Like Paulo Coelho, Joyce Meyer is a widely known author. Her books helped a lot of people find hope and restoration through Jesus. This book delved deeply into her sufferings and hopes of healing. I, too, am hopeful to learn from this. 🙏
What book/s have you read that changed your way of thinking or that have greatly impacted your life? Let me know so I could also check it. ☺️
