And Then We're Married! 🤍

On August 9, 2023 at Savanna Farm Tagaytay, we tied the knot! 🥰

The date was memorable because we also celebrate our anniversary as lovers on our wedding day, the very reason why we chose it. Choosing to have our big day in August was a leap of faith for us, as it is known to be rainy during that time of year. The venue was no exception as it is situated at a high altitude, which resulted in cooler temperatures and a greater likelihood of rainfall. Despite all these, we prayed fervently and believed that God will give us a sunny day, and it did during the ceremony! ☺️ Heavy rain poured few hours before the ceremony and then it suddenly stopped. After which, the sun shone brightly on us giving us the most perfect view of the garden venue.

Our wedding was intimate. The guests were carefully handpicked as the number was only limited. We regretted that there were family members and other close friends whom we failed to invite as we decided to use our savings for our future, which we thought was more important. Nevertheless, we were very happy of everything that has happened on our wedding and it was truly a picture of God’s favor and sovereignty in our lives.

In retrospect, the preparation that took over seven months was worth it. The preparation journey was something I really enjoyed especially when you see the things that you have long thought happened before your eyes.

We were really grateful for our family and friends who took time from their busy schedules and celebrated with us until the end of the program. Also, to our family and friends who were not with us but sent their warmest and sincerest wishes for our marriage. We were also grateful to have you in spirits. Above all, we were so thankful to God for the provision, favor, and guidance. This would not have happened if it weren’t for Him. All glory belongs to Him! 🤍✨
